IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria

Interested folks applying for the IBPS clerk exam must be aged at least 18 years or above, but not more than 28 years as of July 1. Upper age relaxation will applicable for reserved category candidates.
Relaxation of Age:
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Ex-Serviceman: 5 years
• PWD: up to 15 years
Aspirants should have a graduate degree from a recognized institution/college/university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central Government of India.
Candidates pursuing their final year or semester of their graduation can apply for the IBPS clerical CWE VII exam, but proof of passing the mark sheet of the exam must be provided at the time of interview.

IBPS clerk Syllabus 2017 and exam pattern for preliminary and main examinations released within the official notification. IBPS clerk prelims online test contains 100 objective questions for 100 marks with total time duration of 60 minutes.

There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer marked by the candidate in both the IBPS clerk prelims and mains exam. Those who pass the IBPS Clerk prelims exam will eligible to write the main examination. It has objective and descriptive papers.
